Adopt-a-Cell Program

Purdue Solar Racing achieved success with its 2009 car, Pulsar. This vehicle set new standards for PSR with its revolutionary design and performance. Pulsar placed 1st in the solar division and achieved the most efficient vehicle operating with the equivalence of 4913 mpg. The time has come to build upon these achievements by creating Celeritas. Celeritas will represent another leap for PSR through revolutionary designs and cutting-edge technology integrated into constructing the vehicle. Celeritas will compete in the 2011 Shell Eco-Marathon in the Urban Concept category. To accomplish this task, PSR needs your help! The central feature of Celeritas is the solar array. The array, comprised of several hundred solar cells, is the sole energy source powering the car. Costing $70,000, it is the single-most expensive component of the vehicle. By adopting cells, you are making a tax deductible donation to the team and to the future. You will be helping transform Celeritas from Imagination to Reality. Thank you.

Corporate Sponsorship

PSR works closely with its corporate sponsors to guarantee that both parties benefit from the relationship and is willing to work with each individual corporation to ensure success. This provides our sponsors direct access to enthusiastic students who are capable of working on a long term, open ended, integrated project.
PSR is also willing to participate in photo opportunities, tours of the garage and trips to special events. Other ideas are welcome as long as they are in line with our goals and do not overwhelmingly conflict with student schedules.
