First Day at the Shell Eco-marathon

Today was a great day for us at the Shell Eco-marathon. We are currently leading the urban concept solar car division with an efficiency of 64 m/kWh, which is just under 2,200 mpg. We are looking forward to a strong finish tomorrow with some new features that we have been working on, such as improved cruise control. Thanks to all who attended our Celeritas Unveiling! The event was a huge success for the team, and we greatly appreciated seeing so many of our sponsors, faculty, alumni, family and friends to be there to cheer us on. The team will take Celeritas to the Shell Eco-Marathon on April 14th in Houston, TX. Stay tuned here for updates from the race team!

Celeritas Unveiling – April 1st, 2011

The team will be hosting an unveiling event in celebration of our newest car, Celeritas, at 6PM April 1st, 2011 at the Purdue Memorial Union South Ballroom. Many of you have received your invitations already, and we are excited to see the 100+ of you who are already planning on attending!
